From January 2016 through January 2018, I was the Creative Lead for the Component Style guide in the San Francisco office. One of the main initiatives I worked on over the course of those 2 years, was maintaining and developing our UI Kit. This Kit, pictured below, housed all of the components that are used throughout the Macy’s website. This includes, but not limited to: responsive buttons, color swatches, form handlers, icons, and more. The overall CSG project comprised of my counterpart in NY, as well as Engineering, Accessibility and UX. With a talented group of people from different disciplines, we were able to come together and create a cohesive design system to ensure consistency.
