From January 2016 through January 2018, I was the San Francisco Creative Lead for the Component Style guide. In partnership with UX and Engineering, we developed a UI Kit which comprised of all elements that are used throughout the Macy’s web site. Over the two years I was on the CSG project, I drove what the visual style and cadence would be for the Macy’s site, as well as ensuring consistency. This has helped to tremendously trim down excess work for designers, as well as a way for Creative and UX to enforce design guidelines for the Macy’s site as a whole. I also created presentations, which would be presented to key stakeholders.
